Our personal training programs are custom made to your specific requirements, giving you the best chances of achieving your health goals.
We work very closely with our clients to hold them accountable to achieving their goals. Sometimes we need to be lead, sometimes pushed and sometimes held.
We use a number of techniques depending on the client’s needs.
NewU offers a safe and secure environment to work out and achieve your fitness goals, with tailored one on one support.
Step 1 - The first step is for us to have an initial informal chat where we can get to know each other, see if we're the right fit, and I can find out more about your fitness, health and nutrition goals.
Step 2 - If you're ready to get started, we'll decide on the right bundle for you and begin implementation. Before I custom design your personalised training program, I'll ask you to complete an assessment including body composition, range of movement, strength and cardio vascular fitness (which I will get you to repeat over time to track your progress).
Step 3 - Once your assessments are complete, I will have a good understanding of your capabilities and will develop a tailormade plan ready to begin your transformation. We will schedule your training sessions and check in regularly to assess your progress.
There are no contracts signed. If for any reason one party wishes to terminated the agreement this can be done with 2 weeks’ notice.
We will guide you and teach you how to develop and build sustainable and long-lasting changes.

At 40 years of age, I weighed in at 118kg. I was fat, unfit and depressed.
One day, I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror and was not happy with what I saw. I made a conscious decision to make a change once and for all. “I don’t want to be a fat bastard anymore,” I declared to my wife. This began my journey to transformation. It was a mindset shift, and a challenge I was ready to tackle. No ifs or buts about it.
Within a few months, I dropped a sizeable amount of weight, and over time went from a large 118kg to a slim 80kg frame. Not only did I lose the weight then, but I never put it back on.
It's never too late to change! At 42, I learnt to swim. I then went on to represent Australia twice in the Triathlon World Championships, competed in six marathons and completed my first Ironman at 52 years of age.
Now in my mid 60's, I'm 75kg and have a body fat percentage of 15% which is classed as lean and athletic. I am the healthiest I have ever been, and am able to live my life to its fullest potential. That's the biggest reward for me.
